I was responsible for the monthly NVH column printed at the front of the new Road & Track magazine, which has been so completely rethought that its original Newport Beach offices were moved to Ann Arbor, Mich. NVH is an engineering term that refers to “Noise, Vibration and Harshness,” a particularly tough point to address in a car’s product development cycle. Similarly, my NVH duties revolved around seeking future products, digging up rumors, and hitting upon contentious topics like drunk driving limits. It was most challenging 400 words I’ve had to write. This is my first debut in a printed car magazine.
